Here are the most problematic plants in our neighborhood and the lake.

Torpedo grass can take over lakes and needs sprayed monthly at Baywood. It maybe in your lawn. It has infested 70% of Florida.



Alligator Weed:

Hollow stems that breaks easily and floats to other locations. Can grow into sprawling mats on the lake.

Brazilian Pepper and Carrotwood have the same leave pattern and needs to be removed as seedlings before becoming a tree.
